      Quick 3 phase interview process; second round is very thorough and felt conversational rather than interrogative. First round was quick and more informative of the whole company and its clients.

      RED FLAGS! RED FLAGS! RED FLAGS! AVOID! PREDITORY! The interviewer was incredibly scripted--felt very fake and scheme-like and emotive in an almost manipulative way. RED FLAG! For the initial "informational interview", they put you in a Zoom call with other applicants without telling you this will be the setup. RED FLAG! They push the job title of Client Associate (which is not what they advertise on job sites), which consists of starting the morning in "learning meetings", then leaving the office to engage with the community, then returning to chat with your mentor. RED FLAG! The interviewer was pushing how quickly one can work up the ladder into a leadership role. The compensation could be capped salary (proceeded to explain how this was limiting in her experience) or how 95% of their employees do commission based...RED FLAG! Clearly this role is focusing on the desires of a fresh colleague graduate who is likely to be gullible (no experience necessary, training, growth, development, learning, all clients are nonprofits). RED FLAG! BTW, Maverick Solutions was incorporated in 2021. Not even a year old... Interview felt very predatory and everything in my body was screaming RED FLAGS!

      Thank you for sharing your experience, however, we are unsure what you mean by “scripted”. Our interview process is always different with all of our interviewees and distinctive-based on the individuals participating in the interview process. We would like to remind you that all of our interviewees are informed immediately at the beginning of the application process that they will be asked to join a Zoom meeting. With this opportunity in the Zoom setting, more information is provided before moving forward in the interview process. For many reasons, this is a method that we find to be most suitable to then determine who is a qualified candidate. Furthermore, we apologize for any confusion of explaining our business model. Much like Starbucks or other businesses that use similar growth models, we provide a thorough explanation for you, helping you to see what can be achieved if you work hard and move up. We simply gave an overview of what to expect. Much like other leading industry companies, we have positions that offer salary or incentive-based pay. Lastly, we do not discriminate against any age group. Diversity is essential to any business’ success, but especially here with growth and development being in the forefront and partnering with nonprofits.
