Thank you for your feedback.
This introductory call assessed a candidate's client-facing skills and consultant potential and capabilities. As a Maverick, you will work with people from all walks of life, often including less-IT savvy people. All Mavericks are expected to take on greater responsibilities like being a role model, leading teams as leaders, and mentoring juniors and the inexperienced including interns. So being patient and open minded, able to communicate well, respect for others regardless of their age and background etc. are all basic characteristic and important criterias we look for in all Mavericks.
And yes, we intentionally asked about Agile principles and practices in this round as that should be the easiest to explain to non-IT trained people - it is a very low bar to cross. Any candidate that passes will have technical interviews that focus on your technical abilities. We believe the person should be our first consideration, then technical skills. If working / interacting with young and junior people is a concern for you, then Mavericks is not the right place for you.
We wish you the best in your career search.
