Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. I did a phone interview with a different recruiter. The interviewer didn’t seem prepared. I was asked why I wanted to leave my current job. Next was behavior STAR questions. End of the interview the recruiter talked about coming in for an interview and discussed what that would look like. Then ghosted me before I reached out for a formal rejection. It was bizarre and unprofessional.

A recruiter reached out to me after finding my resume on Indeed. We scheduled a time to discuss the opportunity, my previous experiences as they related to the job, and next steps in the interviewing process. My first interview took an hour. My next interview happened a week and a half later via Zoom. I interview with three different people who worked in the department that I was being recruited. The first took a little over an hour where I was given a virtual tour of the building and the area I would be working in. At the end of the tour he asked several questions based on what had been discussed during the tour focusing on my observation skills. The second interview was about 45 minutes where I discuss my previous role and how they related to the current role. He asked a lot of questions regarding my problem solving skills and I how was able to resolve issues. My final interview went more in-depth on my past career as in related to my operational experiences. She also asked which department I could see myself working in and why. The entire interaction with all the interviewers was very organic. I enjoyed the pace and the overall experience.
