Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Medallia em fev. de 2016
Entrevista
I applied online and was contacted by a member of the Medallia recruiting team. We scheduled a 30 minute call that gave the recruiter an opportunity to learn more about my interests and gave me an opportunity to learn more about the company. A few days later, I was contacted to schedule a follow up 60 minute interview with a member of the team that I would be joining. This call was a mix of behavioral questions and functional questions. I was asked about my background in statistics and about the types of analyses I have done in the past. I'm sure that I was being carefully evaluated during the entire call but it definitely felt more like a structured conversation. The interviewer was very open to discussing her day to day at the company, and the challenges that her team faces. A few days later, I was told I would be moving onto the 24 hour Medallia Challenge. The assignment was very clear and I had a chance to ask questions to make sure I was on the right track. It was not easy but I appreciated that the company cared enough to evaluate how I approach problem solving. A few days after I submitted the challenge, I was contacted again for a set of final round interviews. This consisted of three, 60 minute Skype interviews - 2 functional interviews with a member of the team I would be joining and a member of the product team as well as a culture interview. The functional interviews probed more at my skills and interests while the culture interview probed at the types of things that motivate me and make me tick. The next day, I was told that I had passed the final round and that the next step would be a reference check (2 professional and 1 personal). I began hearing back from other companies shortly after the final round, and when I let the recruiter know she was very quick at getting back to me. The recruiter who had initially contacted me kept the dialogue going throughout the entire process and made herself available for any of my questions. When I received the offer, I was already sold. I was impressed with the efficiency of the interview process, and it seems like a great place to work. I can't wait to start!

What would you tell your client if you knew you would not be able to meet a deadline?
first I had a recruitment screener, then I had a team member interview. easy process for both. typical questions. nothing out of the ordinary. if you're interviewing for an analyst job, I wouldn't worry bout the process being too difficult.

Asked about a time when I dealt with a difficult situation in the past.
Was head-hunted by company. Interview was fairly casual with the standard questions asked.
2 separate interviewers - analyst & manager. I thought it all went well and they both seemed happy with me so I was a little surprised when the next day I was contacted by their hr dept saying they wouldn't be taking my candidature any further. No other feedback whatsoever was given.
