I reached the final interview stage for a Content Manager position. While the conversations were engaging, the experience took a turn when they asked for my previous salary slips before even making an offer — a practice that’s both invasive and unprofessional. It raised serious concerns about their HR ethics and data privacy policies. I expected a more respectful hiring process, especially from a healthcare-related company.
I made it to the final round, but I was not given a response later because the other candidate was more suitable. Alright, but then why ask for the salary slip?
