Applied online through careers on Medical City website. Received an email to schedule a phone interview with recruiter. The day came for my phone interview with recruiter and the recruiter was a no show. 30 mins after my scheduled interview time, I received an email stating that the position had already been filled. Go back on the website to apply for another position on a different unit and I notice the job that was supposedly filed is still posted. Not a good impression of this company, seems communication is not there. Why not let me know position was filled before scheduling me for an interview and wasting my time?

I was asked questions about empathy and what I would do in certain emotional situations. I was asked about my experience and what I thought I could bring to the unit. I was warned that it was a difficult job and a difficult unit. The manager was nice and seemed like she was really there for her employees.
