Overall friendly conversation, the HR associate was personable and kept the discussion casual. An initial red flag was when I got an invite for the first interview, it was sent at midnight Toronto time. The interviewer is based in Vancouver so that would be 9pm. During the interview I had asked about Mejuri’s policy and strategy to manage employee’s workload to promote work-life balance and unfortunately the response was very vague. When I received the email that I did not get the 2nd interview it was sent on Saturday afternoon. This made me wonder if Mejuri’s office culture expected workers to do a lot of OT and weekends.
