Entrevista
The Interview process took seven weeks.
Proces:
First step: CV + Cover Letter.
The first step was followed by phone interview - approx. 30 minutes - in two different languages (German+ English).
Third Informal session in their office - First part was a presentation of the company and the second informal meeting with employees (it is called an informal meeting, but you are formally dressed and judged at every step) - approx 1,5 hours in two languages (German+ English).
The fourth is Assesment Centre (AC). The first part is a presentation of a company by area manager and a second part is a group session. The AC is also conducted in 2-3 different languages (depends on which market you apply). - approx 4 hours in two different languages (German+ English).
The Fifth is final interview with the Senior Managers - approx. 2 hours in three languages (German+ English+ your mother tongue if different from languages mentioned).
To sum up:
The company Meltwater feels more like fraternity club. For their `International Management Programm` they don`t look for experienced people or for people who could move the company forward. They are looking for soldiers who will sell, sell and sell and would have no intention to change anything. It is not a management program at all. It is a Direct Sales Program (mainly direct phone sales).
I applied at Meltwater because I believed that their product is filling a market niche. However, my impression is, that they don`t care about their product at all. They care only about sells, and everything else (how innovative they are, training program in Africa, personal development program) is only a superficial game.

Phone interview - How would you acquire new market, Why Meltwater, Introduction yourself.
Informal session - You are encouraged to ask questions all the time.
Assessment Centre - What you are passionate about (60s)? Introduce yourself (180s). Group task - present a company which would need Meltwater`s product and why (300s). Group debate - two sides (Dell computers supporter and Apple Computers supporter) - you need to argument why Meltwater should buy Dell/Apple equipment.
Final Interview - Cold calls (two - in two different languages). Private questions about yourself (your family etc...). The final round took approx. 2,5 hours.

De sollicitatie bestaat uit het schrijven van een brief, een Meet Meltwater dag (digitaal of fysiek), een groepsronde en een individueel gesprek. In de groepsronde doel je verschillende opdrachten zoals een debat en het pitchen van jezelf. Het individuele gesprek is gaaf maar kan intimiderend zijn: er zitten veel mensen tegenover je. De intensiteit is echter voor een reden, je zult met klanten ook je mannetje moeten kunnen staan!

5. Final interview met 5 werknemers die van belang zijn in je toekomstige job. 1 op 1, was heel persoonlijk.
6. Ik moest nog eens op extra gesprek, omdat ze in grote tweestrijd waren.
