Entrevista
Applied via university career center and was contacted within the week for a preliminary screening interview and then was asked to interview with head of office the next week. When I was contacted for my phone interview it ended up being the same person I talked to the week before. They told me it wasn't necessary to interview because I was very qualified. They invited me to a preview open house the next week. I went to the open house and it was mostly a sales pitch about how great the software is. The people seemed nice enough, but they kept talking about the clients they signed without talking about specifics. There was a "case study" but it was just a story of one person's successful on-boarding. When there was free time I mingled with the staff but the conversations mostly centered around small talk with a few questions about why I was interested in working for them. They didn't tell me anything I really didn't know from reading the website and the job was pure sales (instead of consulting like the description mentioned), so I pulled my application after I left. It all seemed very superficial.

De sollicitatie bestaat uit het schrijven van een brief, een Meet Meltwater dag (digitaal of fysiek), een groepsronde en een individueel gesprek. In de groepsronde doel je verschillende opdrachten zoals een debat en het pitchen van jezelf. Het individuele gesprek is gaaf maar kan intimiderend zijn: er zitten veel mensen tegenover je. De intensiteit is echter voor een reden, je zult met klanten ook je mannetje moeten kunnen staan!

5. Final interview met 5 werknemers die van belang zijn in je toekomstige job. 1 op 1, was heel persoonlijk.
6. Ik moest nog eens op extra gesprek, omdat ze in grote tweestrijd waren.
