If you interview with a lab it's typically informal for research technicians/assistants. Although some labs will expect you to do a research presentation just to assess overall competency which is what I had to do.

I have 1 hour online interview with the physicians that work on the project through Zoom meeting. The interview consist of two parts, introduce myself and went over what I have done in the past.
