A recruiter reached out to me about an important managerial role. I had 3 interviews with different leaders including the founder. The first interview was fine. The 2nd interviewer showed up ten minutes late to a thirty minute interview and basically wound up venting to me about different things. We only stayed on for 20 minutes. My interview with the founder was also only 30 minutes and didn’t start on time. The founder was head down in his phone during majority of the interview. I was responding to his questions and he would periodically give me a thumbs up. I did not get the role because I did not have the exact same industry experience, although very closely aligned experience. But 2 of the 3 interviews did not even discuss my skills and assess them against the role. Also 30 minute interviews is not the right time allotment for a senior hire.

Recruiter canceled and post-poned initial screening call last minute (literally I was already waiting on the virtual call), call with HR went well enough, didnt feel like the interview with exec was that thorough. Ultimately ghosted despite following up
