Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Meraki em mar. de 2020
Entrevista
I had applied for this position online through LinkedIn and received an email from the recruiter informing me that I was qualified for the first round of interview and asked me to share my availability through a calendar link.
I picked options that worked best for me and dropped an email to the recruiter. Two days went by and I didn't hear back so I decided to drop the recruiter an email to follow up
He finally replies with a basic email saying the timing is confirmed - no calendar invite, no details about the interview, no idea who I was about to speak with whatsoever.
I dropped him another email asking the duration of the interview because I do have a full-time job, as well as the person I was supposed to speak with. The reply I received was "30-mins"
On the day of the interview itself, I waited for the recruiter to call for 15mins, (keep in mind, I've taken time out during my lunch since I was at work) I received an email from him saying he's in a meeting and said the call will rescheduled to Monday. Frustrated, but it's Meraki and you don't want to miss out on the opportunity so I replied with a time that worked for me again - this happened on Friday last week, my interview was supposed to take place today however, I didn't receive any emails/calls from the recruiter.
This shows lack of respect for the candidate and their time. When we apply for jobs, we expect to be treated with respect - yes, we are taking an interview but companies need employees as much as an employee needs a job. I was absolutely shock by the level of unprofessionalism shown by this recruiter. I honestly don't think he's going to reach out again but frankly, even if he does I'm not going to pursue this because the recruiter kinda sets the first impression of any organization - if the recruiter was so awful, can't imagine what the culture or management would be like. I don't want to judge them and say they're all the same - but this process was very turning off for me as a potential candidate.

Typical interview for a sales position with 3 rounds. Recruiter phone screen, then interviewed by 3 managers with open roles on their team, followed by director interview for the final round.

It was a Three-level process over a Zoom call. They went over personality, Options plus who are the companies we would be working with. They described the atmosphere and hours of the work environment.

Appalling interview process with Meraki. First interview with the recruiter then I had an initial conversation with the Regional Sales Manager which went pretty well. At the end of the call I have been told they will provide me with an update within the next days to schedule the next step. But none of that happened and I didn't get any feedback either positive or negative which is quite rude and unprofessional.
