Entrevista
The recruiter called sent me an email initially regarding this job. It looked very interesting. We fixed on a time and had a quick chat and he fixed the time for the first phone interview which was in a week! The phone interview went on great! She asked questions like what would i do to reduce violent and spam ads on facebook and a few SQL questions like difference between WHERE and PARTITION BY , WHERE and HAVING!
He got back after a week to me to fix the onsite interview which happened in Austin, even though my preferred location is Seattle!! They flew me to Austin and gave an amazing location to stay in 6th street! The interview was very organized! It was for 2 hrs, 4 rounds, 30 mins each! Each interviewer was very time specific!
1st round was Data Analysis based on my projects. He asked questions like how large was my data. how many people used my reports (impact)? was there any financial based results? What kind of statistical analysis did i perform?
2nd round was Technical sql. He had the table and asked me to write the query on white board! Basic joins and having questions!!
3rd round was Analytical data analysis based on FB. If there is a dip in the number of people using fb , what would be the reasons, how would u approach this? he also asked another sql question.
4th was team fit. How did i feel to make conversations with my team? How did i influence my opinion or someone else? how did i prove someone was wrong by data? Whats the best way to ask me if someone has a question?

Four to five rounds of interview including hr. Interview asks about work examples on initiatives or stakeholder management and sql technical skills. One or two of the interviewers mentioned there are too many new people in this field and it gets hard to work with hence relevant experience in fintech or BI seems much preferred.

Entrevista
I know the interview process takes on average 2 months, but they were able to expedite my process because they knew I had an offer in hand.
When first submitting my application, I heard back 2 days later, had my phone screen the next week, and then had my on-site interviews after that. This was for the non-technical role where SQL experience was preferred but not hard required. When asked about your experience answer with confidence.
Phone screen was casual, but be prepared to answer behavioral questions! The classic "why do you want to work here" is definitely something you should have ready on hand.
On-site Interviews were 3 hours long and had each interview focus on a different aspect. A recruiter will contact you to go over the format with you and provide a interview guide document which is what I used. Be prepared to answer behavioral questions and expand upon your answers as well as study for the case interview questions! My interviewers were fantastic and did a great job at checking in on me throughout the day to see if I needed breaks or water.
Practice mock interviews with a friend, as well as prepare and get a lot of sleep the night before.
