Was contacted by a recruiter initially, and several months later the recruiter got back as the hiring manager was interested in my profile. Following that there was a standard phone screen (coding). After the coding round went well, I was asked to appear onsite to meet 4 people for interview - 1 system design, 1 behavioral, and, 2 coding- I guess this is standard FB process. I*thought* I did well in 3 rounds and screwed up 1 coding (ninja) round. I guess you have to ace all rounds and all coding questions to get through. I received a reject email after a week. I thought it was a very fair process and I screwed up 1 coding round. When they are interviewing so many people and can pay well - why compromise ? - Fair on their part.
