There is a panel of interviewers. About 4 people asking questions. One of which is the training supervisor who really just watches and takes notes. The process took about 9 to 10 months. Every step is spaced out. Two psych tests, an extensive medical test, background, etc.

Simple questions about experience and on the job expectations. There was a walk through at the clinic. There was a demonstration on a patient physical exam. There is a new clinic being built down the street that will need many physician extenders so they are currently hiring and training on their EMR for the opening.
