Smooth sailing, asked me to come in and asked basic retail questions about history, why Michael’s, and then gave me a tour of Michael’s. They asked about background and gave a run down of how the job would look like.

Done over the phone, just a simple phone screening talking with the Store Manager. It was fairly short, only around 15-20 minutes. The manager asked about experience on my resume, as well as my availability.

Easy. I walked in the store to ask if they had any job openings, and the manager interviewed me on the spot, and offered me a job. I submitted an application afterwards.
