I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. In the initial phone interview, they tested my English skills, asked about my previous experience and my preference in areas to develop in, as well as my availability. Afterwards I was sent a set of online tests, the first was logic-mathematic skills (data analysis, sequences, and so on). The second one tested English skills with multiple-choice questions. Third one was general knowledge about customer service and business areas. This third test had very subjective answers, so I don't know what the evaluation criteria were. Also, many questions in the third test were not related to the position at all. Even though I felt I performed quite well in these tests, I was rejected the next day with no explanation other than "we will not go further with your application". The recruiter took a good look at my LinkedIn profile before contacting me, so why contact me if I'm not what you're looking for and you will reject me in the end anyways? Felt like a waste of time.
