Two interviews, one with hr and the other with co-workers. They were both on teams. Typical interview questions were asked of me. I emailed with the HR person the majority of the time for updates or to hear about next steps. It was a typical interview process.

AWFUL JUST AWFUL! I was reached out by a recruiting agency about an opportunity with Midan. It piqued my interest so I went through and had them submit my information. I waited a week to hear back about an interview with their (outsourced) HR Specialist. Once that was done, I waited another week to hear about the final interview with the hiring manager and the higher up “professional.” I thought this interview went well until I waited another week to hear they went with an INTERNAL candidate, wasting just about three weeks of my time, with minimal contact in between. ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Even the recruiter from the agency was outraged at their move, especially making me wait over three weeks to end up with nothing. I hope the hiring managers read this and understand that THEY are the problem with the job market right now. Wasting people’s time all to go forward with someone internally is absolutely inexcusable.

The process included three rounds - two with the recruiter and one with the hiring manager, all remote. The hiring managers was via zoom. Also, they gave a test project to work on.
