After applying online, one of Miele's hiring managers called me back and arranged a zoom interview with two designers of the team, one of which would later become my internship supervisor and colleague. They were really nice, even if one of the interviewers had a stern look on his face for most of the time. They asked me a few questions about my university degree and my internship experience and then I presented one of my ux portfolio projects to them. So the process was pretty much what you would expect from a UX job interview. Afterwards, they called me back to offer me the internship position immediately the next day and sent me the contract documents the next week. (Although I want to add that I had previously interviewed with the company in the year before, where they forgot to give me a reply and ghosted me by accident instead of rejecting me properly, but oh well.)
