Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Minerva Networks (San Jose, CA) em jul. de 2019
Entrevista
I had a video call with the recruiter, I wasn't expecting technical questions, but she shared me a word document with some Java questions in which I had to write my answers, there were like 20 questions.
Onsite:
* 2 engineers: some technical questions about Java, solved some problems on the whiteboard.
* Tech manager: gave me a paper sheet with some Java questions and some algorithms problems. She was on the phone the whole time, she seemed very disinterested in the interview.
* Manager: talked about previous experience, talked about the company.
* Hiring manager: talked about my previous experience, about the company, tried to convinced me to work there.
After some days, I received an offer with less salary than my current salary at that time. I declined it.

Java questions, some algorithms problems, previous experience.
O processo levou 2 semanas. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Minerva Networks (New York, NY).
Entrevista
1) phone call
2) video call
3) onsite with on technical test, and two in person interviews
Phone call and video call were fine. Gerry seems like a cool guy, recruiter sounds fine, maybe a little unenthusiastic.
Onsite was bad. First did a networking/Linux test which seems somewhat outside the job scope.
The next people that interviewed read off my resume like it was a script and asked questions about it. At times the interviewer had a condescending tone.
The office has a great view, but no one was there and there were stains on the carpet.
I've had great interviews and bad interviews. This was bad. Skip if you aren't getting a very senior position.

Why do you want to leave your company, is it because I used to work there and it sucks?

The interview was with 4 people. Manager, two engineers. A lot of questions related to multicast and unicast. The person should have in-depth knowledge of networking and some programming in python.
