Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Minnesota Reading Corps.
Entrevista
Very poor experience. I applied for a position and had a phone interview scheduled. I waited and hour and a half and received no call. When trying to get into contact with them, I finally discovered that my interviewer had either quit or been fired, and yet no one followed up to inform me. If I hadn’t been persistent in trying to contact them, I probably would have never heard back at all. They also sent me emails that were supposed to go to someone else, and no one could explain how they ended up in my inbox. Totally chaotic and unorganized. All of the positions I had applied to were filled in the meantime as this fiasco was unfolding.

They mostly asked about volunteer experience and why you think reading is worthwhile.

I completed an interview over the phone. First there was a brief introductory phone call and then a more in depth interview. Was not super hard and asked pretty standard questions.

The interview process was quick. Applied online and got screened for 30 mins two days later. I was told I passed and would hear about placements the following week and didn’t. I let it wait out but decided to contact the recruiter myself, as two weeks since the expected placement date was soon. I called the same recruiter i had interviewed with and they had NO IDEA who I was and claimed there was no record of my 30 minute screening. Obviously this is not something that happened in my head?! We went on talking and they told me they would call me back promptly after calling my placement school for an interview. It has obviously not happened. I’ve heard so many good things about the corps but is this what they represent as an organization? Disappointed and actually surprised that I was treated like this at such an organization.
