Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Miro (Amsterdã) em nov. de 2020
Entrevista
The interview process was not professionally implemented and unfortunately I was not treated professionally. In the technical interview instead of having questions about DevOps foundation and cloud convepts, you will be asked about syntax etc. It was very disappointing. The interviewers were very unfriendly and immediately I felt that the atmosphere shouldn't be collaborative and I felt the company is not flat since the team lead looked aggressive. I wouldn't recommend this company for people are used to work in a flat companies with flexible people.

1. HR call
2. Technical test. They asked to write Terraform/Ansible code to deploy frontend, backend, AWS LoadBalancer, RDS with separated subnets. In my opinion, that's disrespectful at this point already. After HR call you know nothing about the company, their stack and the team, but you have to spend some hours on the task.
3. Technical interview. Just the same as people wrote before - very unprofessional:
- The interviewers were unfriendly and just tried to punish with questions
- Too many useless questions about syntax
- Is wasn't a discussion, it was just like an exam - they never tried to prove their point when they were disagree, so I always had to ask for their opinion
- The interviewer from Russia had really bad English skills, no complains about the one from Netherlands
A big waste of time
Perguntas de entrevista [1]
Pergunta 1
1. AWS (VPCs, Load Balancers, Autoscaling groups)
2. Kubernetes (core services, EBS volume for Statefulset in different AZs)
3. Terraform (stupid questions like "what are 3 ways to less code", "pros/cons of terraform workspaces")
4. Concepts of Python (data types, which are mutable/imutable, what is decorator)
5. Name Linux debug tools and describe them

1) An initial HR call
2) Technical test. They asked to build a AWS Load Balancer + EC2 web servers + RDS architecture using Terraform and Ansible.
3) There was a technical interview but wasn't very professional. I have to agree with another feedback provided in Glassdoor for this position:
- Questions were all about theory, syntax and nothing around cloud concepts, how would you implement things or things that matter in real life scenarios.
- Interviewers were very unfriendly and I got the impression they just wanted to punish candidates with questions. Old school style
- As I was advised, I expected to get questions around the technical test but never happened.
I wouldn't recommend spending time in this process unless you want to work with in a non flexible environment.
