Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Miro (Amsterdã) em set. de 2024
Entrevista
I applied for a Staff Product Designer role at Miro. The process involved multiple delays and unclear communication from the hiring team, which affected my overall experience. While the initial call was positive, communication broke down after the hiring manager for the role apparently became unresponsive. Despite being asked for feedback midway through the process, there were long delays in receiving any actual feedback.
My second interview labeled as "Batch day" felt quite formal and a bit off, with responses coming across as defensive when I asked direct questions. There was no apology for the delays, and the tone throughout was somewhat condescending. Ultimately, it became clear that there was a cultural misfit, and the process lacked the transparency and professionalism I expected from a company like Miro.

I was invited to a screening interview. This initial interview was conducted by a recruiter and a second junior recruiter for learning purposes. During the screening interview, I was asked questions about my previous experience, design process, and skills relevant to the position with a focus on data. The interviewer also provided more information about the role, team, and company culture, and answered all my questions.

The process went fast once it got going. The recruiter and hiring managers were professional throughout the process. Constructive feedback was given after the rejection. There were some mishaps along the way, but they were quickly fixed and apologies were given.
