Overall, the interview process was okay. Completed 5+ interviews over about 5ish weeks.
I spoke with all C-suite members besides the CEO, and the conversations were not structured but friendly overall. The conversations were often repetitive, with only 1 focusing on my skills and experience about the role; other conversations felted 1 sided where it was difficult to mention my experience to showcase my ability. It was essential to speak with the different leaders as they all wanted something different within the role. However, this also made it seem that there wasn't a strong alignment across leadership on what makes this role successful or who would be ideal. It may not be the case, but it is felt as a candidate.
Again, overall, it was an average experience; it got disappointing when I was told that I was going to the final round for the team to withdraw their interest later with little to no communication for several weeks. At this level, providing this type of withdrawal and communication, along with a generic "thanks but no thanks" email, does not show a strong candidate's experience.
Everyone was friendly, and I wish the team the best, but I recommend having better structure and alignment for positions and interviews, especially at the leadership level. It is okay to communicate quickly and respectfully if it is not a match.
