Entrevista
I applied on LinkedIn, recruiter reached out and setup two skype interviews with the hiring director and one with an engineer on team. The skype sessions went well and most of the questions are on data structures and algorithms. A week later they called me onsite which had 5 technical rounds. 4 of them are general software engineering i.e design, datastructures, algorithms and the last one was iOS specific interview. The questions were pretty hard. especially some questions, I have never seen them on any websites like geeks4geeks, careercup ,etc.

Reached out to recruiter on LinkedIn, who then setup a phone screen/coding session with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was very nice - the coding session went well. A day later, the recruiter called again to setup an onsite. The onsite included talking to 3 of their engineers, also with one of the VPs(ironically not with the hiring manager). The sessions with the engineers went fairly well - they were very nice and professional. The lunch session with the VP involved with him throwing random questions such as design a web server (I am an application developer! Not a web developer) - him eating lunch and working away on his laptop - while I was scribbling on the white board. I found that very disrespectful.
An interview is not a one way assessment for companies to evaluate a prospective employee. It is also an opportunity for candidates to judge their future peers/bosses, to see if we are a right fit for this work environment. I would definitely have liked to meet with the hiring manager during the onsite. I understand VPs are busy jumping from one meeting to another - a 45 min session with the VP is unnecessary on the first round of onsite.
