Wasn’t difficult. They are looking for enthusiasm and passion. Have lots of examples. The interview questions are the usual Type of interview questions. It wasn’t a stressful interview. I would just come prepared with work examples or life examples tied to the question they’re asking

I applied to the position and received a different offer several days later. MFJ was my first choice, so I decided to send a follow up email. They were super quick to respond and very kind to accommodate me by scheduling my interview as soon as possible.
There were two rounds of interviews- both with the director, and 3-4 other attorneys (mostly supervising attorneys). Everyone was super nice. They all seemed enthusiastic about the organization and the work. Asked the usual questions- nothing that caught me off guard.
Before the second interview I was asked for 3 references, which they did proceed to call. In the end I didn’t get an offer. I believe they liked me, but I don’t really have any housing law experience and other candidates did. Regardless, it was a really pleasant process and everyone was so nice.

There were two rounds of interviews for this position. The first was done by the director of the unit and a staff attorney. They asked the basic questions: "tell us about yourself," "why MFJ" etc. They also asked specifically about client work experience and case load management.
The second round was a much bigger crew and included the supervising attorney and several other staff attorneys, along with the director. They asked many of the same questions from the first interview, and then participants were able to ask questions. These covered client work, race and privilege, knowledge of the area, etc.
Everyone was very warm and kind at every step, even if the second interview was slightly intimidating with the large group.
