Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Modern Health em fev. de 2021
Entrevista
Phone screen, tech screen, virtual onsite.
Almost everyone I spoke to was very positive, and it was probably the most wholesome interview I’ve ever been in. The team highly values inclusion, diversity, and mental health, and it shows.
I was blindsided with a rejection, as I felt it was the best interview I’d given. The recruiter was unwilling to provide feedback, which was an incredibly frustrating way to end the otherwise positive experience. Companies really need to stop doing this.
For one round, we ran out of time (interviewer lost track of time). I was told I answered well in the time I had, but perhaps that context was lost when a final decision was made.
I would still recommend the company to others, but I would warn you to expect very little feedback or forgiveness during the process.

1. General phone screen
2. Screen - share a repo from your portfolio
3. On-site:
a) Programming - debug and optimize code
b) App Design - create a data model and design endpoints
c) Project Fit
d) Behavioral
e) Behavioral
f) Behavioral
As noted in the other comments, they have a somewhat typical, if generic interview process:
1. Take home assignment (~3 hours)
2. Review take home assignment with an engineer (30 min)
3. Virtual onsite consisting of a blend of technical and non-technical sessions (4-5 hours).
Most of the individuals that I met with throughout the interview process were pleasant, though the candidate experience could have been greatly improved. Long stretches of time elapsed between interview phases with no communication and they ended up ghosting me after the onsite. I wouldn't recommend interviewing with them if you are considering it.

Take Home assignment which takes anywhere from 2-8 hours depending on how much effort you want to put into the project
Afterwards, there's a (virtual) onsite which is half behavioral and half technical
Not really sure why I was rejected. Seemed like all the technical and behavioral interviews went well but they came back and said no offer. They really don't like to provide feedback. If the candidate is going to spend 15+ hours interviewing with the company, you can at least have the common courtesy to walk them through all the feedback. There's a lot of red flags on the Glassdoor reviews and it really showed in the process.

Was reached out to on one of the job platforms, after which we set up an introductory call to discuss the company, the role, and the interview process.
Was told I could choose between either a take home project that could take up to 6 hours, or a Coderbyte assessment that should take about 1.5 hours. Opted for the latter, submitted, and then was essentially ghosted by the company.
Communication afterwards was pretty haphazard at best, with delays in setting up the initial chat, to confusion about which assessment I did, to lack of communication after submission. I had followed up a few days after submission to get an update, was told several days later they were unsure why the assessment hadn't been graded yet and that they would check, and then never heard from them again afterwards, until a pretty unpersonalized template email was sent telling me they didn't want to move forward almost a month later.

Was given a choice of a take home project or a Coderbyte assessment, the latter of which had a couple technical exercises in React, and some open-ended technical breadth questions.
