Someone reached out on Indeed and advised me to call in, rather than them reaching out via call. When we spoke over the phone, they casually mentioned I sounded 'young' and proceeded to say they wanted to simply 'put a face to the resume.' They didn't really go over the role. Instead, they advised me the company was family-owned and they would get back to me when they reach out to the owner about scheduling an interview with them. They did ask about my experience but didn't seem too interested, as they asked how soon I could start.
