      Candidatura

Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Morningstar.

      Entrevista

2 out of 3 people who interviewed me were very young and inexperienced (on my 1st call I actually had to ask if the person had any questions for me?), 2nd call was with Emma and it was worse than the 1st one - she didn’t even try to engage with you (felt like she made her decision within 3 seconds of joining the call and didn’t bother later). I had 2 calls in total, I followed up after the 2nd one, but 3 weeks later I was still waiting for someone to get back to me. I’d expect at least a rejection once you have started to interview candidates but it doesn’t seem that they care about the candidates experience.

Why did you apply for this role? Have you managed people before? What attracted you to the company?

      Candidatura

Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Morningstar (Chicago, IL).

      Entrevista

The process consisted of a phone interview and two meetings at their offices with a total of nine people. I have yet to have any closure to the interview process which I find completely unprofessional. It is even more unprofessional given it was a higher level position and that I am an HR professional interviewing with HR.

We’re sorry for your unfortunate experience with our interview process. Our goal is to close the loop with every candidate in a timely manner, but despite best intentions that doesn’t always happen. Occasionally, through the process of meeting candidates for a role, we may decide to rethink the definition of the role itself. Or we meet a candidate who may not exactly fit with the original role but we want to consider for another role. These “detours” can cause an unexpected delay in the process. That’s not intended to be an excuse, and I don’t know if this was the situation in your case, but we wanted to share some context. Obviously we could have done a better job of communicating with you, regardless. Again, we’re sorry for the breakdown and we’ll make every effort to improve our follow-through.
