Sadly such a bad experience with an agency that I'm sure would have been good to work for. After travelling to their office at considerable expense, when I arrived at the office I was told the person interviewing me was out for lunch... So I waited for over 30 minutes before my interview could commence. Interview itself was a positive experience, I liked the staff and felt they'd given me a good chance to display my skills and experience. Following the interview, I was invited for a second interview and given a task to complete prior to this. Given the distance I had to travel, they were happy for the second stage interview to be over a call. However, it never happened! After trying to arrange a date, I got a phone call saying I could send over the second stage task "whenever". So I sent it over that day and never got a reply. Followed up multiple times with no response. Have the feeling the role was filled before I got my second interview, which is absolutely fine until you consider the time, money and effort I put into the process. An interview is not a one way street and candidates should be given the common courtesy of a response and feedback, even if a decision has already been made.
