I understand that this is a small startup, but regardless, the interview experience was very negative and unprofessional. """ Stage 2 involved an interview with the CEO, Lucas, who missed the meeting, without notice, even though the interview time was booked well in advance. I reached out to reschedule and was able to successfully have an interview the second time. Interview was nothing out of the ordinary, except for he wanted to discuss the React UI assignment (from Stage 1). I did not have the assignment on hand, as I was using my work laptop for the interview call, but to my surprise neither did he. Which makes me wonder if the React assignment was even reviewed at all. Overall, a very poor interview experience due to the unprofessionalism of the CEO to miss the scheduled interview and a time-consuming assignment. MoveMate trying to imitate FANG-esque LeetCode interview questions with a React assignment was completely unnecessary. As well as asking for a critique on their website as an interview question is borderline comedic.
