I got ghosted. I felt that my first round interview with the hiring manager went really well. Then the recruiter ghosted me. She had explicitly asked me to send her an email after the interview to let her know how it went, so I did that. I emailed her 1 hour after the interview, describing in detail what I enjoyed about connecting with the hiring manager and why I’m excited about this particular role. I never received a response from her confirming receipt or acknowledging my feedback. 6 days later I reached out to her again to check in and directly asked if she got my previous email that she had requested. Nothing. It’s been weeks now and no response, not even a rejection letter or an update on how busy the team is. I would appreciate ANY response, anything to let me know if I should wait this out or if they have decided to pass on me and I should focus my efforts elsewhere. Anything would be more respectful than ghosting.
