Mr.Cooper interview experience
The first round is online assessment where they have asked 30 questions out of which 27 are mcq's and 3 are coding questions. The 27 mcq's are based on aptitude and find the output for the given code in java and c++. In the 3 questions, one is easy and the other two questions are medium. Can be hard also.
The second round is long coding where they have asked us to create a application for the given scenario using languages such as c++,java or python. For us the question is like creating a e-commerce platform. They also assess your understanding of the problem and your way of thinking to approach the problem. They also asked us to draw diagrams such as ER diagram ,class diagram . In between they have asked some questions related to the problem and datastructures and oops. They also asked me to write a code for a problem.
The third round is technical interview. In Mr.Cooper they mainly focus on Datastructures,. oops, DBMS and also on OS,CN. They start with datastructures and the questions are like balancing parentheses using stack, infix to postfix conversion, finding the level of a node in a tree, and addition of nodes from two linked list etc... They also asked some theory questions and scenario based questions in DS.
In oops the questions are mostly find the output for the given code.
In dbms, they have asked me mainly about joins . They have asked me write queries and also scenario based questions and finding output.
Based on the performance of the first technical interview, they conduct second technical interview for some candidates also for reassessment.
The general HR, they have asked one coding and is a string question and in both technical and general HR they expect only optimised solution. They also asked some questions related to joins in dbms and based on the diagram which I have drawn in the second round, they asked some questions and asked to write code related to the class diagram.
Some behavioural based questions are also asked.
