I was first contacted on LinkedIn without applying for the role. Had an initial chat with the executive consultant. A day later I had a video call with other team members. I felt the second interviewers had an objective to poach my ideas rather than to recruit an experienced contractor in email delivery. The company was lacking in understanding of email delivery and appeared to want a yes man who was open to spamming email recipients rather than an email consultant with who was experienced and had "technical" skills in email delivery problem solving and who had guided, resolved delivery issues with some of the largest global firms.
