Lots of technical questions about my field of study, no weird questions that would throw you off. They mainly wanted to know I was willing to work study and gel with the research team. Don't stress over being very formal JPL is a very relaxed environment almost like a college campus.

Applied through my school's summer research opportunities; found a posting on a website and submitted an email to the person in charge of the project I was interested in. Received a call and asked me mostly about my previous experiences related to sensing/programming and 2 months later called back and told me I got the job.

Entrevista
Single phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes and included exactly one question. It was a conference call with two people on the other side and they introduced themselves and advertised the project a little bit then asked me a simple screening question.
