I applied online. I got a phone call the next day for a brief telephone interview. The lady was really nice and just asked me the basic questions like, tell me something you achieved recently and she asked about my previous employment and how my friends would describe me. It was very relaxed and then I was asked to come in over the weekend for an assessment. I came in and waited in the staffroom for 5 minutes and then the duty manager came to take me to her office. I gave her my documents and then she took me the stockroom where I worked with another member of staff for about an hour. It was a really good experience and I had a good time. I picked up skills and have learnt how to do a few things already. I was offered the job at the assessment and was given £10 cash and a £10 gift card. The induction was the following day which I also go paid for. Overall, good experience.
