I applied for interview at NIIT via CoCubes recently just a few days ago, i got shortlisted for the interview rounds, and the Job description on CoCubes states -

Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their PRE-ASSESS® scores and question asked. Also, would request you to update your online resume.
Shortlisted Candidates are required to travel to the Company Office for further rounds.
Further Rounds: 1. Multiple Rounds of interview

Very First Round was Tech Talk, some unusual idiotic technique to shortlist further candidates,
there were about 30-40 topics mentioned and we were asked to choose one and speak on that for about max 2 minutes,
i choose BIG DATA and spoke confidently for about 2 minutes,
But after that round they didn't shortlist me, i don't know why, what they wanted.
This was not expected of reputed company lilke NIIT, It seems like company's talent aquisition is in wrong hands, few imateurs are just playing with the future of candidates and money of company.
We didn't even get to showcase our skills in written aptitude or face to face inteview rounds.
Please don't waste time for this company, they are just doing this job drama for company promotion.

Application/Shortlisting – Apply through campus or online, resume is screened.
Aptitude Test – Covers reasoning, math, and sometimes basic coding.
Technical Interview(s) – Coding problems + questions on DSA, OOP, DBMS, OS + project discussion.
HR Interview – About yourself, strengths, relocation, salary, career goals.
Final Offer – Results usually come within a few days to 2 weeks.
👉 In short: Test → Technical → HR → Offer.

This was the first step in the process and focused on assessing the candidate's logical reasoning, mathematical ability, and problem-solving skills.
Questions typically included topics such as quantitative aptitude, verbal reasoning, and data interpretation

Was asked to present on a Software Engineering topic, this was followed with multiple questions from the interviewing panel who were my audience during my presentation. It was interesting for my but highly challenging, as the audience consist professionals in the industry.
