1. Thursday 7:17p - Applied via NORCAL Website
2. Friday 9:00a - Called by Recruiter to schedule in-person interview.
3. Friday 9:11a - Received an email confirming in-person interview at Livermore station on Monday at 10a with the following instructions: "Your interview will consist of 4 parts and will take around a hour to two hours to complete all portions.
A. Verbal interview with a supervisor or manager on duty
B. Scheduling questionnaire- availability sheet that can/will be gone over in your interview
C. Written test- Based off the national registry test and has very similar questions
D. Patient assessment- all verbal, no lifting or moving. Based off the national registry skills sheet"
4. Monday 9:40a - Enter lobby, sign in, temperature check & COVID questionnaire, greeted by Recruiter, taken to cubicle to take a written test. 42 questions, multiple choice, NREMT style test.
5. Monday 10:15a - Completed written test, moved to an interview room with operations manager. Asked a few standard hiring questions, and then went through a mock patient medical assessment that was 100% verbal, like NREMT psychomotor. After assessment was complete, I interviewed Harris at length about NORCAL: type of contracts, training, etc., Assessment + interview lasted about 45-60 minutes.
6. Monday 1:56p - Recruiter called and extended a conditional offer, scheduled a physical agility test for Tuesday at 9a.
