Many burn out, or leave after only a year or two to look for easier work elsewhere. If you don’t take pleasure in your work - have fun working hard - then you’re going to be miserable there. The company itself doesn’t go out of the way to make your time there fun. Out of Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook, Amazon is the one which does the least for its employees in terms of perks and workspace by a significant margin.
