This was one of the most uncomfortable and off-putting interviews I’ve ever had. After sending my availability as requested, I was simply sent a confirmed interview time — no additional details or context about what to expect. The interview itself was with the Claims Manager, who jumped immediately into scenario-based questions without offering any overview of the role or asking about my background or experience. The entire conversation felt one-sided, with no attempt to build rapport or understand who I am as a candidate. Most of the questions were highly specific to the role — which I expected to some degree — but they were delivered in rapid-fire succession. I was interrupted several times and cut off mid-response, which made it difficult to fully explain my thought process or experience. The overall tone felt more like an interrogation than a professional discussion. At the end, I was told that moving forward depended on my “score” from the conversation, but I never received any follow-up. Honestly, the interaction left me feeling dismissed and undervalued. While I understand that interviews can vary in style, this one lacked the basic courtesy and structure that candidates deserve. It was disappointing, especially for a role that seemed aligned with my experience.
