Very strange experience - was emailed by the recruitment team saying I am a very strong candidate for the role and urged to apply which i did. Passed initial teams interview and waited 3 weeks to be told I've got the assessment day Bare in mind this is a trainee supervisor programme and I am already a fully qualified contract supervisor on network build projects with over 4 years experience. Myself and another collegue interviewed on the same day and took part in the contractor conversation assessment (My collegue is very knowledgable and professional). We were both told on the day after our interviews how amazing we both did. And my collegue was also stopped before we left by an assessor to say how fantastic his contractor conversation went and that it was 'The best he'd seen' we left feeling fairly confident due to our amount of experience and on the day feedback from assessors. Neither of us were offered a space on the training programme and the feedback was extremely generic. Neither of us were given actual examples of how we didnt meed the grade. So overall a very strange experience and waste of time. I genuinely believe the spaces on the training scheme were already pre sited to candidates that fit the bill - not the best people for the actual job.
