They called me and then I went in to a meeting with one manager, one human resources employee and a parent. This seemed to be a typical "what is your past work experience?" interview. I have over 25 years of experience in working with children in various settings but I had little experience in daycare with infants and toddlers (I worked as a temp in day cares and most of my experience is in-home care with this age) so the manager was questioning this and they ended up offering me a lead teacher position with preschool which they changed to an assistant job the next day, so I passed on that and then they offered me the co-teacher infant toddler position which was a very easy enjoyable job if the other teacher in my room hadn't been so controlling and mean it would have been a wonderful position.
