Phone call from hiring manager- very serious and in depth. Followed by 2 in persons. First with hiring manager, who was very nice, then asked me to come meet another old woman manager and CEO. The museum is very old and not up to date. No one was in it. The exhibits were sad and small. But the worst part is, the old women I met with last (as if anyone needs 3 meetings to get a job at a dinky museum!) was very mean, demeaning and argumentative. She wanted exact dates on my last jobs and when I corrected her, she Argued and glared at me. Then sat tight lipped and silent the rest of the time. She was too busy judging my past instead of evaluating me for the current role and future. Reminded me of my judgy mother. Wouldn't want to work with her if she was the last human on earth and I'm sure she felt the same way about me. Clearly I was Too young and ambitious. Their loss!!
