I had an interview process with Nectar Group, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The recruiter was unreliable and failed to commit to timelines, despite being in a sales-related role. I was given multiple fake timelines, making the process unnecessarily frustrating.
After going through three rounds of interviews, I was told that I had passed. However, instead of moving forward, the recruiter mentioned that the CEOs wanted to interview more candidates for comparison. If I had already passed, why continue searching? That was the first red flag.
I was then told to wait one week for an update. That update never came. I had to chase the recruiter myself, only to receive vague, noncommittal responses. Eventually, I was told that none of the other candidates had passed, so they couldn’t compare me to anyone—which made no sense at all. Another red flag.
Then, in the most unprofessional move, HR reopened the job listing to get more candidates and told me to wait another three weeks for an update. It has now been over a month, and I never heard back. At this point, I’m completely done waiting.
If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine how they treat employees. A company that struggles to give a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer is not a company worth joining. Avoid at all costs
