Entrevista
A recruiter reached out to me expressing interest in a software engineering opening. They were extremely helpful and advocated strongly for me as a candidate.
The interviewers and software teams, however, were not so interested. The hiring manager for the job also so happened to be a manager on the team which the job was opened for. The recruiter relayed to me that there would be an assessment that was not deemed "pass/fail" and instead was meant to help Neighborly estimate where I may need growth with the company.
Instead, however, Neighborly was extremely delayed in responses throughout this process, even waiting as long as 3-4 weeks between communications with the recruiter on updates for this job. Unfortunately, the hiring manager changed their mind on the nature of the assessment being "pass/fail," and instead changed the criteria of the job without notice to the recruiter and myself. Throughout the process they were wholly unprofessional in their communication time and what was communicated to the recruiter I was working with.
Pretty chill, asked a few questions about myself and what I want in a career. I also in turned asked a few questions about the working culture etc. Not technical at all

Entrevista
The process started with an initial phone call where we discussed my background and general fit for the role. After that, I had two virtual meetings with different team members to go over responsibilities, expectations, and my experience in more detail. The final step was an in-person interview where I got to meet the team and see the work environment firsthand.
