I was called for an interview with my to-be-manager. I was asked to bring an example of an FSD (Functional Specifications Document). The interview was about 45 minutes of talking and asking general and knowledge-testing questions, about 15 minutes of asking about the example FSD, and then a short practical test to write a specification for an FAQ feature.
I guess he liked me, because he took me straight to an interview with the CTO and they already offered me a contract. The HR manager was on leave, so I skipped the interview with her for the time being. There was a final nerve wrecking step of Polygraph. I was accepted and worked there for a bit over 3 years.
