i was contacted by a hunter who sent my resume to the company after my permission. I was then soon contacted by the datahub team to do a technical interview with the team leader on site. It lasted one hour first I presented my background then i was asked several technical questions they had on my passed experience and java, sql skills. Then they presented me their project on going, both architectural and detailed. Right after I was told to pass a second technical interview with the architect and a final one with the HR one week later for about 2 hours. I was asked to implement functions on the computer and test my solutions. The problem is not hard, just need to show how you think and the way you program, so follow the good practice. After that there were again some technical questions on Java se, and webservices. The final HR interview is just typical. Discussed salary expectation.
The overall experience was good. They try hard to show you what they are doing and how you can integrate into the team. I am a bit impressed that they have about 250 employees where about 200 of them are software engineers. Really have technical environment. But the space seems to be a bit tight and no much open space. Anyway, a growing company.
I rejected their offer because I got a better one. Anyway they pay good to Juniors, comparing to other French native software vendors.
