1. I applied online and hiring manager emailed, scheduled a call and called me. Very good and general convo. Then they came up with SQL take home assignment that I aced. 3rd another member of the team scheduled a video interview to test my Product/Business knowledge and SQL skills on a live touchpad. The interviewer came with questions based on the real life NerdWallet cases on a day to day work. Questions were basic product analytics questions but I wasn’t sharp on the topic because of my previous experience and the SQL also was a bit harder than the assignment but nothing too extravagant, the trick is that you gotta be sharp enough to solve it on the spot. Cause I knew the drill but I wasn’t sharp to solve exactly on the spot. The whole process was less than 2 weeks. They are good ppl but would let someone with potential to get in.
