A week after I applied, a recruiter sent me an initial email at 11PM confirming (not scheduling) an interview for the next day. Keeping in mind that we had not previously spoken and I had not provided her my availability. I was very confused but still agreed to do the interview, having only a few hours to prepare myself. The interview itself was pretty standard. She told me the next steps would be an interview with the hiring manager and then a virtual on-site. I was scheduled to interview with the hiring manager 2 weeks later. It was mostly talking about my previous projects and what kind of work they currently do. A week later, I received a no-reply generic email saying they decided not to move forward with me. I found this really unprofessional as this was the first time I interviewed at a company where I was given news by a no-reply rather than an actual person.
