I placed a called to the person I was referred to and spoke to him. I was asked questions about my work back ground and my familiarity with the new software they had installed. I explained my years of experience and what I could do to help them. I was asked what I was looking for in salary. I was asked to come in to see the company and meet with the head of accounting and the person that was handling personnel at the time. We met as a group and I was able to answer their questions. After the meeting, they came back a couple days later with what they could do a as a small company and I accepted the job offer. I started 1 week later after giving notice to my old employer.
